THE 3 Cs REPRESENT THE PURPOSE, PROCESS AND VALUES OF OUR PRACTICE
Clients may present one or more dimensions or objectives in a project brief. At GDS, we look critically at what's given, what's existing, and what the client thinks is possible. We glean for clues, unearth hidden potential through research and experience. We appreciate an involvement in the business case of a project, where we can provide strategic guidance through design leadership.
The evolution of a brief into design or a development program requires creative interpretation and assimilation of purpose, context, sustainability and scale; borne out of a desire to transcend the trap of ‘an acceptable solution’. Here, the client’s role is also important, in wanting to go the extra mile, to achieve a unique outcome rather than stick to the status quo.
We approach each project with a holistic view and collaborate with various disciplines through a team of illustrious specialist consultants. Our strength lies in integrating a wide array of required services into a cohesively coordinated project, combining the achievement of design intent, regulatory requirements, appropriate specifications, cost control and efficient execution.
