Charu has been associated with GDS since 1990, and has more than 30 years of experience in architecture and interior design. The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium at New Delhi is the most prominent project from his previous experience, in which he was involved right from the design of the competition entry, to its execution.
Charu is presently in charge of GDS's various proposals for the Privatization Initiative Cell for Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), including the Centenary Hospital, the KEM hospital students' hostel, two new ward offices in suburban Mumbai, and the Emergency Control Room at the MCGM head office.
Charu has a special interest in interior architecture, and has a wide experience in hospitality, retail, office and residential interiors.
A graduate from Sir J. J. College of Architecture, University of Mumbai in 1975, Charu is registered with the Council of Architecture and is an Associate Member of the IIA. |
