Location: Dadar West, Mumbai

Client : Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM)

Site Area : 7 hectares

GDS prepared a urban renewal masterplan, project feasibility study report and development guideline for this 7 hectare site, situated in the midst of one of Mumbai’s busiest and most congested quarters.

GDS proposed that a commercial and retail hub should be developed here to tap the site’s commercial potential, along with a new MCGM office building and staff quarters, and recreational and community facilities for the residential neighbourhoods in the vicinity.

The assignment is part of the consultancy services to the MCGM’s privatization cell for the redevelopment of the Corporation’s underutilized land assets to facilitate the creation of additional amenities for the city of Mumbai.
